The Eyes Have It

So obvious I'm sure I must have used that one before. Anyway another milestone passed on Friday last when I took Amelia to the hospital for her latest eye check. Remember that for premature babies, the eyesight is always one of the most worrying aspects that can suffer, especially if there has been significant ventiliation required at birth as with Amelia. Well amazingly after various flashcards, eyedrops and torches into the pupils it was reported that not only have there been no side-effects from her prematurity but quite the opposite and her eyesight is astonishingly good. Although test results at this stage are exaggerated apparently she can still be described as having 20-20 vision and has now been officially discharged from the Opthalmic clinic.

None of this of course comes as any surprise to those of us who've tried to sneak a Custard Cream past the nosy little bugger.
