A Grand Day Out

As a forerunner to Anna's impending start at the Watercress Line we were invited to attend one of their famous Days Out With Thomas (The Tank Engine), so Saturday last we donned full packed lunch provisions and made the long journey up the hill and into Thomas-land. It's a flippin' ace way to spend an afternoon I can tell you, and several donuts and candy floss bags later we were all steamed out....literally.

Moment of the day though was stolen by the principessa of course. On noticing the countryside whizzing by she realised that ever-present companion Pooh (stuffed toy) had a poor view from the seat and so lifted him up to the window to let him see out. Bless.
