Eighty Days Is A Wrap

The short film chronicling events from 2 days before Amelia's birth until the day we brought her home, now entitled Eighty Days for obvious reasons, is finally finished. I am happy to email Windows Media versions to anyone who wants them (email Amy from the Blog site) but as a great deal of footage used is of quite poor original quality due to obvious conditions, I would strongly recommend the DVD version. These are free to all of you regulars and should anyone outside the gang want one, again email Amelia from the site and I'll setup a PayPal invoice for you to pay by credit card to cover postage etc.

It's just over 10 minutes long and everything I hoped it would be. Kleenex at the ready though, it's strong stuff.

The Chocolate Gene Has Kicked In

Oh she's a Wilson-Barnes alright. Well Amelia is scooting around the house on all fours banging her head whenever she gets the oppotunity - ah such joy. She fell off the bed the other day and yet it's true, babies do bounce! My heart is in my mouth every time I hear a crash, bang or whallop in the vicinity.

Off to Manchester this weekend for the annual mutual hatred society meeting between the good and righteous Blue side of the city and that evil worm-riddled pile of offal from the Old Trafford area. I dare say we'll watch the match too.

Posh frock

Christmas was a hoot as always and this year Amelia had another posh frock to wear. Last year's lasted around half an hour as I recall before it was on the receiving end of a particularly violent bowel movement from her ladyship. This year she managed to keep it on all day and what a picture she was too.

Creepy Crawly!

Well 'touch wood' the antibiotics seem to have done the trick and Amelia is coughing & snotting a great deal less. Phew! One strange side-effect is that she has now started crawling!!!! She's been on the verge and has been cruising around the furniture for some time but just hadn't got the hang of propelling herself forwards. So the stair-gates are up and we've ordered the spare pairs of eyes for back of the head insertion. Be afraid!
