Morecamelia

Early June brought a historic trip for Amelia as we headed up to Morecambe. Ian & Julie were staying with us the day Amy was born but had never seen her in the flesh and it also gave is the chance to introduce her to Phil & Jane pictured here. These four along with a seemingly endless army of wellwishers in that neck of the woods have kept us going with avid interest in the site and countless messages of support since day one. Cheers folks.

Due to some logistical mishap there are no pictures on my camera of Amy with either Julie or Ian. If anyone has any please forward to me immediately for publication.

The Party Frocks Are Out

In a trial run for her big day on August 6th, Amelia donned her party frock for Izzy Bee's 1st Birthday bash this weekend in Romsey. Aww.

Amelia On The Moon

Well not really but you get the idea. This was the first time Amelia had ever made steps to walk and we managed to catch it on tape. She'd done maybe one step earlier in the day but not a proper sequence like she actually wanted to walk somewhere.

First taste of melon

Yesterday was tremendous fun and momentous in more ways than one. Keep checking back this week because at some point I'll be posting a very important piece of footage. In the meantime here's a couple of pics of Amelia enjoying several mouthfuls of summer melon.

Who'd believe a salesman?

I mean, I know I said there'd be regular updates and of course I meant monthly. Only joking. As most of you know I have a new job and for the first time in 8 years I'm not my own boss anymore. The upside is I don't have to deal with all the crap anymore either - well that's the theory anyway.

And so to more interesting, Amelia related matters. Our bundle of joy is doing just fine and although there are still only 2 teeth showing there's more on the way and she is teetering on being able to stand unaided; until she falls over of course. Anyway there's loads of pictures to sort out but in the meantime here's the pick of the crop from our recent jaunt to Venice. More soon.
